Delete some of your data without deleting your account
Email faoliveirawork@gmail.com from the Google account you use to sign in and say
what you want removed. You can ask for any of these on their own:
- your gameplay history and word progress (your account and friends stay)
- your match records and leaderboard entries
- word reports or feedback you sent
- your push notification tokens (you stop receiving notifications)
Requests are handled within 30 days and you get a confirmation reply.
What is deleted when you delete the account
Deleting your account removes, right away:
- your profile (display name, avatar, native and learning languages, country)
- your gameplay history, scores, streaks, word progress and match records
- your friends list and pending challenges
- your push notification tokens
- any word reports and feedback you sent, as linked to your account
What is kept
- Anonymous aggregate statistics (for example how often a word is found) that
cannot be linked back to you.
- Nothing else. There is no additional retention period.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. See the
Privacy Policy for the full picture of what the app
collects.
