Delete your Couch Match data
Couch Match is made by Fabio Oliveira. The app uses an anonymous account, so
there is no email or password on file; deletion works by identifier.
How to request it
- Open Couch Match, open the Seen tab and scroll to the bottom to copy your account ID.
- Email faoliveirawork@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my Couch Match data”
and paste the ID in the body.
The account and everything linked to it is deleted within 30 days and you get
a confirmation reply.
What is deleted
- your profile (display name, what you watch, age band, language)
- every swipe, rating and want-to-watch mark
- lobbies you hosted, and your membership and votes in other lobbies
What is kept
- Anonymous aggregate statistics (for example how many people liked a title)
that cannot be linked back to you.
- Nothing else. There is no additional retention period.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. See the
